Over the years your Bali PC Advisor has given you advice on
how to keep your computer safe from viruses; make it run faster;
and how to do some things to make your work faster and more
efficient. I’ve also given you web sites to help your
finances; avoid scams; make travel easier; get the news; and
obtain info for expats in Indonesia. Today, I want to help
you and your kids. With all the inappropriate material that’s
out there that you don’t want them to see, it’s
enough to make you lose sleep at night with worry. You as
the parent must set the rules for when and what your children
are allowed to access online. Make sure that the computer
they use is in a public place in your home, and occasionally
check on what they are looking at, just so they know you’re
watching.
Here are some of the best kid-friendly sites. In the list
below, you’ll find games, activities, educational resources,
and safety tips. Some of them may even be fun for Mom, Dad
and Teacher!
