Max, the Dutch master with a wicked sense of humor & a twinkle in his eye, loves the ladies as they do him. He certainly has a knack of making all who enter his slick modern salon most welcome. Max is so engaging that now his bevy of staff (it’s obvious that they love him) have learnt the finer points of hairdressing and now they are masters too!
The door wondrously opens as you are about to enter the salon, you are swept to your chair where refreshments are offered, tones of exotic music float about you. Consultations ensure whereby color & styling are discussed (L’oreal products) A decision is made and it’s all go in the ‘make you beautiful department’ One feels very comfortable within these surrounds, its personalized service at its best.
Many of the clients know one another, if not, and then by the time one has left, it’s a great place to network socially & professionally. But if you just want to chill & speak to no one then you can do this too!
Clients come far and wide, Ubud, Nusa Dua, Sanur and from Jakarta & overseas. It seems that if anyone has a guest staying in Bali they too come along for a SPOILED experience.
Two little lovelies attend to your manicures, pedicures (they use OPI color) eyelash/brow tinting (great to accent eyes for blondes & mouse browns) to luscious crème baths for your head & shoulders (the best massage ever)
The staff seem to float effortlessly around, all work in a harmonious manner, loads of smiles as they all want you to have the best experience for the day. They are polite, sweet, attentive, work efficiently and quickly. The salon is kept super clean (the Dutch way!)
Weddings - dressing the locks for the bridal party for their special day and all that goes with the total beautifying experience. Total make-overs and transformations can happen here at Spoiled, just let them try and bet you a piece of cake that you will be very happy!
So, what’s IN for the season then? Like fashion, hairstyles will follow suit, so now it’s back to the 60’s & 70’s with blondes looking good for the summer, get back to some fringing & swept up do’s for balmy evenings.
