The Sun continues in Cancer until the 23rd, when Leo takes
over center stage. Venus begins it’s retrograde, July
28th, and the Full Moon is on the 30th, in Aquarius. July
continues to be a bit of a respite, from the intense transits
we have been having, and which will continue later in the
year. So enjoy this time, and remember to pull out your party
gear, as we set in motion the celebrations for all those regal
Leonine friends. Venus retracing it’s steps through
Leo, until early September. Venus in Leo, wants attention,
and lots of it. Connecting with Saturn three times on it’s
journey through that sign, makes for a rather serious tone.
The pair also making a trine to Pluto. A lot of transformation,
with the ability to see it through to the end. Pluto, wanting
truth, at all costs, Saturn as always creating boundaries,
and Venus wanting fairness for all concerned. Venus too, is
our values. In Leo, we value the family, and our domain. It
is about will, and the appropriate use of it. The ego, and
all it’s eccentricities. To be fair and just within
relationship, we must learn to take the bull by the horns,
and commit to honesty and asking for what we require, and
at the same time, allowing others their freedom to create,
their own lives. It is with consistent effort, and dedication
to a higher way of living, that wins out, in the end. If not,
the consequence will be, someone else taking over your life.

ARIES : Things will become a lot more to your liking, when
the Sun enters fellow fire sign Leo. And it won’t be
long until Mars moves into Gemini, which should amp up the
volume for you. The ability to make the most of your circumstances
is yours. Just remember to treat others fairly. If you demand
too much for yourself, you will build resentment in other
people and later, wonder why they were not there, when you
needed them. Make adjustments before it is too late, and you
have thrown the baby out with the bath water, so to speak.
TAURUS : Enjoy the pace of life over the coming fortnight,
as after that, you will find yourself on the move, and groovin’
to a very different beat.Taking life for granted is just not
a good idea. Better to approach it with gratitude, for what
it offers you, and adjust yourself accordingly to it’s
seasonality. As quickly as the storms arise, they can also
recede. Remember to take the good with the bad, and when the
challenges come, set yourself firmly, and deal with them.
Life is forever in a constant state of flux.
GEMINI : Family matters are still very much on the communication
agenda. It could be the time to get in touch with some of
those, you have been neglecting, as for sure they will benefit
from your wisdom. Sometimes the steady approach is the best,
for those less mutable. Put some kindness in your words, and
offer support where it is needed. These gentle words, can
be like a balm, on a weary heart. To know that someone cares,
is such a bonus, when we are feeling low.
CANCER : This Full Moon is a good time to gather, with a group
of friends. Any endeavor needing joint intention, will benefit
from these gatherings. Community, a word meaning communication
in unity. Let then, your community come together to discuss,
share and heal. Even if this group is your family members,
open your hearts and bless each other, with your shared vision.
Keep things simple, direct and with a sense of commonality,
which supports all.
LEO : With Birthday time upon you once more; set in motion
those creative talents, and arrange for yourself, a truly
awesome event. Big or small, with many or one, treat yourself
to something special. This auspicious time, marking the beginning
of your birth year, sees you enthusiastic, and filled with
anticipation for the coming months. Out with old, and in with
the new. A sense of which you already have. Things which were
completed weeks ago, have now left your awareness, as the
new cycle begins.
VIRGO : Venus does a short stint in your sign, before it turns
around. So for a moment, it will be like, relationship takes
a turn for the better, and then retraces it’s steps,
to do a little more preparatory work on the details. It’s
a funny thing when you think you’ve made the grade,
only to discover, that you need to go over some of your notes
and revise. Never mind, it will make it all that much better,
when you come to this point again in October. Just open your
heart, and allow all that is not love to be revealed. Once
opened, they will then fill with the light of love.
LIBRA : Venus, being your ruler, will specifically effect
you, over these coming weeks. In Leo though, not creating
too much of a challenge. As you love to love, and be loved,
it will be easier for you than most, to adjust to this revisory
period. Shedding the light on difficult places, within your
relationship and being willing to change and grow, will be
easier than you may anticipate. If we stick to the golden
rule, of treating others, the way we would cherish being treated,
then we can’t really go wrong.
SCORPIO : Pluto coming up to a trine with Saturn, will see
new employment for many. It is your task now, to create the
living, that you would most enjoy to make. What is the one
thing, that you would love to earn your livelihood from doing,
being or making? Earning a living is not about, being in a
job, that stifles your personality, your motivation and enthusiasm;
to enable you to pay the rent and cover other expenses. It
is your expression of joy and love on this planet. Doing what
makes you feel happy and inspired.
SAGITTARIUS : Jupiter, your ruler, will go direct again, beginning
of August. So set your sails, and be ready for the winds of
change. As life gathers momentum once more, you will find
yourself in a better position to help others along, with their
journey. Having gathered so much wisdom in your life’s
experiences, you are in the right place, at the right time,
to assist. This is your joy, and your pleasure. You are a
natural born teacher, and as such, fill your role with ease.
This makes learning for others, easier.
CAPRICORN : The Venus, Saturn and Pluto connection affects
you in a great way, over these coming weeks. It will really
bring some solidity to your relating, and with the added fire,
this won’t be any mundane affair. Pluto loves to push
things along, and Venus wants love, strong adoring, romantic
love. Saturn, although on it’s own, a bit dry and overly
responsible, will be in the supportive role here, as the overseer
in this drama, just so things don’t get out of hand,
or too dramatic. You are in for a fun ride.
AQUARIUS : Leo is your opposite sign and as such attracts
your attention. This is still a Planet of duality, and as
such everything has an opposite, and you can’t have
one without the other. Within Astrology, we imbue the attributes
of our polar opposite, and so it is all inclusive. A bit like
the yin yang . So if you think you are bereft of dramatic
agendas, and adoration seeking tendencies, think again. You
love the lime light, as much as anyone else, and can put on

PISCES : We breathe a sigh of relief. You are at the end of
another cycle. And we must, breathe out, before we can breathe
in. Let this be your practice, as much as possible. Simply
breathing in existence, and breathing out all that no longer
serves you. This is your time, to be the love that you are,
and to share that, remembering to replenish yourself, and
rejuvenate with the breath of the divine. There is nothing
to fear, doubt or worry about. Stand in your dignity, and
