The good news this fortnight, is the direct motion of Mercury
on the 10th. Venus moves into Virgo on the 15th, for a short
stint, before we have a retrograde of that planet. New Moon
on the 14th in Cancer. Mercury in Cancer, has had us in deep
introspection over family issues. Matters close to the heart.
What appeared as hold-ups and confusion; crossed wires and
delays all start to free up and what a welcome relief that
is. As we head into the Venus retrograde, at month’s
end, relationship takes a turn at the introspection phase,
and in the sign of Leo, it will be about attention. It continues
for a number of weeks into the beginning of September. Not
a good time to take the beloved for granted, although we could
all be caught up in our own agendas; so much so, that we could
overlook the other. There will be a price to pay, as we are
all wondering if we are receiving the adoration, we so deserve.
Venus is traveling with Saturn, during this phase, and will
help to usher in some solidity to our relationships. Remember,
wherever Saturn touches, he brings the ability to achieve
a lot of work. So for those of us, affected by this conjunction,
look forward to some hard yards being covered within your
relating.
NEW MOON 21 Cancer 41 July 14, 2007 8:05 p.m.
ARIES : Mars now in Taurus, has slowed your pace somewhat.
Where you felt invincible before, you now feel much more cautious.
The headway you thought you had made in your relationship,
is about to be questioned. The same old story, seems to raise
it’s ugly head. Things you thought were long since finished
with, reappear to seemingly haunt you. Stubbornly holding
your ground, will only tend to alienate you from the Beloved.
In this case it is probably better, to just let things ride
for a while, and tend to your own needs.
TAURUS : Slow down, and simply enjoy what you have created
around you. Be grateful, for all the wonderful things and
people, you have in your life. You, are getting primed for
the next chapter of your story, and with the emergence of
these new energies, some parts of the old will need to be
discarded. Let this process be as effortless as possible.
No use clinging to that which has seen it’s use by date.
There is only good waiting for you around the corner. Release
with love and gratitude in your heart, and the new will arrive
without delay.
GEMINI : Hold-ups are frustrating and irritating for you.
Thankfully then, for the time being, they are over. What’s
worse, is that they have been
very emotionally fueled and centered around family, which
is a tough pill to swallow, if you happen to be in the wrong
place. There appears to be a theme of surrender and trust
happening. I mean what else can you do, when you have given
up something which has been a part of your life, seemingly
forever. You just have to trust that there is something just
as wonderful, if not better, coming along.
CANCER : Things will really be working in your favor, particularly
around the New Moon. Birthdays are the best time of year,
as they bring with them, new energy and new beginnings. Celebrate,
with those dearest to your heart, and let this new year be
one of continued opening on the heart level. Share intimately
with those you love, and let that nurture you, for all the
areas of your life. Take that feeling into your work, and
into your meetings with others. Stay open, and centered.
LEO : Let love rule, no matter what the situation. Within
personal relationships, allow plenty of scope for expression.
Do your best to not be too jealous or possessive. Love and
be loved without the fear, and miracles will begin to happen
for you. Trust in the love your significant other professes
for you. It is your doubt, after all, that sets the stage
for heartbreak. Create the kind of relationship that you want,
firstly by believing you can have it. No giving up either.
Keep yourself focused and on track.
VIRGO : All the to-ing and fro-ing; the procrastinating, has
exhausted you, and now it is time to find peace in your mind,
once more. Relax, and allow yourself some gentle nurturing.
Perhaps it is singing or chanting, that will soothe your soul.
Whatever the balm, use it, and know that by emanating some
sound, resonating with the rhythms of your body, calm will
be restored. No need to worry, this is not a performance,
yet rather purely and simply for your own healing. Do it when
you are alone.
LIBRA : Strongly affected by the movements of your Planetary
ruler, Venus, you could be in the midst of more permanent
arrangements, within your relationship. It’s funny that
when we are presented with the very thing we have most wanted,
our tendency is to run away. Stay firm in your intentions
now, and create the platform, you have desired. This may not
happen over night, yet rather be a process occurring over
the coming weeks. There is no hurry, or need to act in haste.
Allow it to unwind, with love.
SCORPIO : As you tenderly allow your heart to be exposed,
you find a renewed sense of companionship in your relationship.
Again, there is this need for some kind of formal agreement.
Whatever that means to you, for it could be as simple as uttering
a commitment to your partner in private. Being special in
someone’s life, is something that wants to be declared.
Agreeing to share possessions, needs some boundaries. Let
this not be a big deal, for in truth it is not. Just get clear
and practical.
SAGITTARIUS : Going for the one, is as simple as allowing
all facets of human expression. There in no longer the need,
nor has there ever been, to measure one off against the other.
Accept all, and be about your own business. Be guided by the
bigger picture, as you so effortlessly do; and others will
be inspired by your actions. There is also no hurry, as everything
is going just fine, as far as the divine is concerned. Where
would you want to be, other than here and what on earth, would
be the haste to get there.
CAPRICORN : Saturn coming out of the grips of it’s opposition
to Neptune, will bring more movement into your life, than
there has been over the past year. A little more clarity,
and with a stronger sense of how to go about achieving your
goals. The lessons learnt though, have been worth the apparent
uncertainty and your willingness to grow in a new way, is
acknowledged. No need to worry as there will be no slipping
back into old habits, for the newness is permanent. Now isn’t
that good news.
AQUARIUS : Sometimes you just want to slip off and be by yourself.
To go unnoticed, unobserved; just another face in the crowd.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be a possibility
over the coming weeks. Find a little solitude, in your moments
alone, and traverse the expanse of the void in your own room.
It need take no longer than a moment, to restore your equilibrium.
Let all the business and people’s agendas just slip
out of your conscious thoughts and focus on your connection
to your source.
PISCES : Perhaps now, you will be able to slip off into the
land of dreams once more. With Saturn riding your tail, for
the past year, it has been a busy kind of life, and there
has been no escape from the constant daily grind. You have
done remarkably well. As Saturn loosens his grip, you will
find your imaginary meanderings taking you to far away places,
with magic and miracles abounding. Romance is in the air as
well, so allow yourself to be carried away on gossamer wings.
