As I write this article in advance, I sit here with the Mars/Pluto
opposition still playing itself out in the sky. We have just
experienced the earthquake in Sumatra, and my daughter was
on Nias at the time. It brings it all a little personal and
close to home, so to speak. These feel like fragile days,
where anything is possible. This morning, I take a moment
for the mothers of the World, who have children in foreign
countries, at War. (And of course, for the mothers in those
countries.) The stress and strain on their hearts, must be
immense. So, with Mars, the ‘God of War’ overhead,
pitting itself against, Pluto, ‘The Lord of Destruction’,
I send a prayer of peace to all the tired and weary hearts
in the World. The Sun freshly into Libra, bringing a sense
of balance now. Mercury in Scorpio, looking for, and probing
everything, for answers. Mars enters Cancer, bringing deep
feelings with emotional outbursts, as we have just passed
through the Full Moon in Aries, prior to it’s entry.
With Mercury/Scorpio, trining Mars/Cancer, we will bear witness
to some powerful, emotionally backed words. Jupiter squaring
Uranus in Pisces, is demanding compassion, truth and understanding.
Perhaps first, the truth, and then the possibility of understanding
and a uniting of hearts, through compassion. There is a great
Swedish movie out, called “As it is in Heaven”,
which personifies all of which I speak.
FULL MOON 3 Aries 20 September 27, 2007 3:46 a.m.
ARIES: Thoughts turn to those of family, at the end of the
month. Around the same time, you have the Full Moon in your
sign, prompting you to find your inner nature and solitude.
That introspection which is not witnessed by others. You could
be feeling very restless, and at the same time, drawn to attend
to matters, pertaining to community and family. On the one
hand, adventure calls, and on the other, the relentless sense
of responsibility tugs at your heart. As much as you want
to fly solo, life is about relating. Yours, this fortnight,
is a balancing act.
TAURUS: Venus, your ruler, continues in the sign of Leo, and
making a trine to Pluto this fortnight, relating with passion,
and intensity, which could leave you feeling a little wrung
out. At least she has moved away from Neptune, which has kept
the relationship issue, at arms length and very confusing,
over these past months. Full steam ahead then, and let not
the fear of relating, deter you from commitment. The good
that has come from these preceding months, is that now you
have your values intact, and prioritized.
GEMINI: After all the mental purging of the past weeks, you
can now be about the business of restoring some order to your
life. Well, at least for the time being. This round of transformation
has lightened your load, somewhat. As the dust settles, you
will feel compelled to share your journey, and communicate
it, in a gentle way. The harshness has left your delivery,
for it is the criticism of yourself and others, that has been
transfigured. Speak from integrity, and with a sense of understanding
for the situation of others. Offer a kind word of encouragement.
CANCER: As Mars enters your sign, you feel a sense of invigoration,
as energy levels are restored. Often it is in the release
of long held emotions, that we find rejuvenation. The amount
of energy that is required to hold down the pain, is enormous.
With the clarity that is now afforded you, you could make
plans for the near future. If your life direction has altered
recently, know that you are not alone, for many have passed
through this recent portal, with a renewed sense of purpose,
which will bring about many relocations and changes.
LEO: With Saturn already departed and Venus about to leave
your sign, life will take a turn towards the more serious
and mundane. It is now time to get to work. To focus on your
health, and to bring a sense of order to your life. With the
Sun passing through Libra, your thoughts turn to relationship
and how best to work within that, supporting the other, and
being supported through your own process. You understand the
importance of partnership in your life, and these recent months,
have reiterated that for you.
VIRGO: Get yourself sorted now, as Mercury is about to do
another retrograde stunt. The good news is that Venus, the
Lady of Love, is about to enter your sign, to bring a little
partnering your way. What form that takes, let’s wait
and see. Traveling closely with Saturn, she will no doubt,
have an air of seriousness about her. She is standing strongly,
and with firm intentions, and with those being of a Virgoan
nature, will set you in good stead for the coming intensified
life experiences.
LIBRA: It’s birthday time again, and with this comes
a renewal of solar energy. A burst of enthusiasm if you like,
bestowed upon you, this time of year. Family will play a big
part in your coming year. Whether this is your blood family,
or something much bigger, it is still that sense of belonging
that inspires you to relate. Discussions will be deep and
meaningful, and probably transformative, clearing out a lot
of the ghosts of the past. The primary relationship will be
the arena for many, of this deep and lasting transformation.
SCORPIO: Sex and partnership are very high up on your agenda
at this time. Issues pertaining to these topics will be in
your face. Keep your ego out of your communications, as much
as possible. Listen and do your best to understand the position
of the other. If you find yourself leaping into the future
in discussions, stop yourself, and stay present. Really listen
and hear what others have to say. Anything that gets misconstrued
now, could take a lot of undoing later.
SAGITTARIUS: Jupiter in your sign squaring Uranus, creates
some very unexpected and surprising events, for you this fortnight.
It could even appear in the form of an epiphany. Suddenly
a new life direction is opened up to you, and you are ready
for the journey. What held great meaning before, no longer
does so, and you are prepared to venture where you have never
done so. if it is not quite as dramatic as this, at least
know, that you are being divinely inspired to express yourself
in new ways. In the Way of the Heart. Share your love, with
boldness.
CAPRICORN: Saturn and Venus together, adds a sense of seriousness
to your relationship. Perhaps you are ready to rise to a new
level of commitment within your marriage, or for some, to
take the step of matrimony. You now see, that relating is
work. To achieve good results, you must be prepared to put
in the hours and the dedication. This relationship realm,
also leads to the areas of work, and community. As you are
no stranger to doing the hard yards, you will welcome this
sense of support.
AQUARIUS: A sudden burst of inspiration is coming your way,
which instigates change and growth in your life. You will
feel a compelling urge to reveal the truth in a situation/s
and to bring a sense of divine justice to it. Where many are
unable to pull this off, you will, as your nature already
allows you the gift of humanity. Feeling for others, as you
do, will allow this to proceed with compassionate understanding,
and what could be an uncomfortable situation will be resolved
with ease. Let your true nature shine through.
PISCES: Many will be triggered by the Uranus/Jupiter square
and as such, can look forward to some pleasant changes of
