This is our last fortnight for the year. The Sun moves into Capricorn, on the 21st, heralding the Summer Solstice, with Mars following in it’s wake on the 27th. The New Moon in Capricorn also on the same day. This is the winding down period now, for the Sagittarius moon cycle, which saw much movement and minds being expanded, in so many ways. The hyperactive Full Moon, on the 12th, which brought it all to fruition, and this the time to integrate the months activities. What has been your focus? Many have been relocated, and often this is the month for travel, and a focus on religion, with Christmas and all it’s strong symbolism. With Pluto newly in Capricorn, this could be a year of reigning in the expenditure, and the celebrations, toned down, with a strong focus on family. MInds will be turned to peace and the possibility of doing things, without all the fanfare and outlay. We can expect much more simple festivities. There is a natural drawing together of people, as the economy and structures continue to crumble. Much solace is found, in the practicality of daily activities, shared. Those still caught in the cogs of the money making machine, are beginning to feel very uncomfortable, as we march towards the Uranus/Saturn opposition, early February. Jupiter is quickly approaching its’ entry into Aquarius, early February, heralding a time of major technological breakthroughs.
NEW MOON 6 Capricorn 08 December 27, 2008 08:23 p.m.
ARIES : Mars, as it enters Capricorn, brings a great deal of sobriety with it. This, just at the time you want to start kicking up your heals, and letting loose. The Sun and Mercury also playing havoc, with your party plans. The good news, is that all of this is bringing with it, a great deal of growth and change. All will be affected at some stage, by the transiting Pluto, creating a square (bringing transformation through stress) to the Aries chart.This would be the appropriate time to adjust your life to consistent upheaval.
TAURUS : This is an emotionally balancing time for you, with much stability coming into your life through partnership. The practicality of the day to day procedures is the stabilizing force. The ability to share these simple pleasures, is a joy in itself. Friends are very important to you at this time, and could be the only inconsistency, in your relationship. You may just have, a different circle of friends, to those of the beloved. There is nothing that can’t be resolved with a little objectivity and detachment.
GEMINI : Mercury is going to be spending a lot of time in Capricorn, over the coming weeks. What does this mean for you? Being Mercurially ruled, you are, at the best of times, living in your head. The good thing is that Capricorn brings a great deal of common sense and practicality to your thinking process. The down side is, that we could all become a little fixated and extremely rigid, if it becomes unbalanced. All this at a time, when the Capricorn theme is so strong, and bringing with it, a lot of unpredictable changes, to all our lives.
CANCER : A strong cycle coming up for you next month. Actually, the next few weeks will be quite a ride, with a pair of eclipses, after the Full Moon in your sign. It could be a bit of an emotional roller coaster ride for you. Being forewarned however, could put you in a good place to be very mindful of your activities, and the way you approach and deal with them. All this Capricorn, is in opposition to your Cancer planets, making life a little topsy turvy and the lessons slow and a little painful.
LEO : Chiron and soon Jupiter, will be activating your chart in a way that you, will want some more alone time, and will be desiring less of an audience, to parade your self-esteem. There is an integration occurring within your very being, that has you resonating with some higher frequencies now. The time will come again, where centre stage, is the place most desired. For now, the back seat is an o.k. place to be. Learning the lessons of life, sometimes is a long, slow, deep process.
VIRGO : I would think that there are many projects and demands on your time, at this stage of your development. Are you learning to take things, one step at a time, or are you still racing ahead of yourself in your mind? Staying focused, and is your priority now. It is too easy to spread yourself too thinly, and suffer from exhaustion or burnout. Be willing to take some advice, from those who have gone before you. They do have the wisdom and experience, to guide you at this time. Be gracious enough, to honor their presence.
LIBRA : There have been changes in relationship for many of you, and this is the time to experiment for many. This too, could be within the realms of a still existing relationship. This is the much needed, time alone for many and for those of you who are alone, a more intensified phase of that is coming your way, in February. Before that, you could experience an emotional slump, which can be used to clear and release the past, in readiness for your next relationship. For knowing you, you won’t be too long away from one.
SCORPIO : The Sun joining Pluto this fortnight, sheds some light on your process. The hard work, has really, only just begun. Saturn is your mentor at this time, and over the coming years. Known as a hard task master, you could find yourself superbly challenged and stretched to your maximum capabilities. So much of your old life is being stripped away. The interludes in between the old, and the arrival of the new, could be a little disconcerting, to say the least. However, all the hard work, will keep you very busy, with little idle time.
SAGITTARIUS : We bid a fond farewell to the Sun, as she exits your sign this fortnight. Mars stays a moment longer, to give you some moral support. Jupiter, your ruler, changes sign early January, ushering in a revival to your life. New ideas, and possibly technologies, along with some new and very interesting friends. This will be a fun time for you, when you can break free of some of your old modes of behavior. This is always a welcome relief when it comes. Shedding our old skins, is never as painful as it seems, once it’s done.
CAPRICORN : Sun entering your sign, with a wallop, as it joins Pluto, this fortnight, giving everyone a bit of a shake up; not just you. Mercury also, will be spending a lot of time in your sign over the coming weeks, keeping your mental processes in alignment, with your soul’s purpose. Mars also joining the picture, through until February, bringing much needed energy to you, and all that you are involved in, at this time, and I would imagine, that this is quite a lot. New projects, are never far from your thoughts and actions.
AQUARIUS : With Jupiter about to enter your sign, early January, get prepared for a lot of changes and rapid growth and expansion. And hopefully not in the waistline. Jupiter also, is known as the Planet of luck. We can all gracefully accept a little luck, into our lives. With the pressure being exerted on your life, at this time, a little luck is most welcome. Your finer attributes will really shine through, over the coming weeks. Your ability to make friends, easily along with your quick and unusual thinking processes, will make you the life of any gathering.
PISCES : Venus is going to hook up with Neptune, at the end of this fortnight, bringing some wonderful and unpredictable romance your way. How super is that? Many of you, have been doing the hard yards, when it comes to the romance department. Well, this is your time; so make the most of it. Although there is an absence of water signs being activated and supported at this time, the grounding of the Capricorn energy, will keep you in good stead. This is the time to build solid foundations, for your future.
