This fortnight is off to a flying start with the second of the Mars/Pluto oppositions. Mars now retrograding back through Gemini, to hone the images of the mind, and Pluto still in Sagittarius; at least until months’ end. Mercury moves into Aquarius, just before another of its’ retrogrades at the end of January. The first of our series of three oppositions, was back at the end of September. With the third and final, in March. Cast then, your mind back to September, and try to remember the flavor and the setting at that time. There will be a noticeable theme occurring, if you can find the thread. With Pluto sitting on the Galactic Center, at that time, the portals to other dimensions were opened. So now, with the opposition, and after the activation of the Center, you are vibrating at a different frequency, and can now open yourself up to the experience, which began back in September. It’s like the mind is still trying to catch up, to what has transpired, which takes it well beyond it’s normal limits and understanding. A good thing then, that we have this retrograde period of adjustment. More information will be made available, and you are still in the process of releasing old patterns and paradigms. It is time to move beyond, your small box and expand your thinking to universal proportions.

ARIES : With all the action around Mars, and it being your Ruler, you are probably in a place of adjustment, change and confrontation. A great
time to be rolling with the punches, if you can; metaphorically speaking. You will, no doubt, bump up against opposition and the old methods of dealing with it, probably just won’t cut it, anymore. Communications will be confusing, unless you open them up to higher ways of thinking. The past, is wanting to be released from your mind, along with fear, doubt, resentment and hatred. Open yourself to this process.
TAURUS : Lady Love, is in the sign of the Amorous Archer, Sagittarius. Relationship is a big part of the current transformational game. Surrender to the current trends or find yourself living out old marriages and relationship drama. Information is available, to those who look for it. In that regard, there are a number of forerunners in the field of relating. Dealing with issues and new methods of cohabitation, are well documented and it puts an interesting spin, on the old ownership, and one-upmanship methods of the past. Do a little research for yourself. The time for change is upon us.
GEMINI : You too, are heavily influenced, obviously, by this Pluto/Mars opposition. Again, I will reiterate, that the higher mind is just waiting to be accessed and is only a moment away, from the habitual
methods of thinking and communicating. A conscious effort, is needed on your part, to access altered states, i.e. theta (meditation brain wave) in which it becomes effortless to create your life, and receive guidance. We are surrounded with those who have the knowledge and skills to direct this. Utilize their understanding and mentorship.
CANCER : The New Moon in Capricorn, will see you implementing some new strategies for living, during this years beginning. Getting started with a good foundation, is imperative, for the work ahead of you. If you set it straight now, with clear thought and intentions and goals, you will achieve great success in the months and years to come. Time to review your life, and see what has and hasn’t worked for you, being prepared to release those things which no longer work or are profitable for you. Pluto will help to make this process a ruthless one.
LEO : It is a bit of a dry time of year, when the Sun is in Capricorn. A lot of work to achieve, and fitting a social schedule in alongside it, is tiring. Remember to take the rest you need, or you could find yourself in a state of burnout. Spreading yourself to thin, in any one area will make for more challenges later. Better to cut back altogether in some situations, so that the body doesn’t suffer. The Full Moon is in your sign this month, so rest up now, and you will have the energy to party then. We know how much you hate to miss out.
VIRGO : Many, will be activated by this Mars/Pluto dance, with a square formation to their Virgo Planets. How this manifests, is an individualized event, however, the theme is very much to do with your mental capacity. These signs being a part of the Spiritual Cross, you will find it, being a prominent topic. It is interesting to speak of spirituality and the mind, in the same arena. Being creatures of free will, our minds are the tool to access our spiritual nature, along with the body, which when treated appropriately, is an awesome vehicle which houses spirit. Discipline is the key ingredient here.
LIBRA : As an air sign, you are, generally speaking, very comfortable in the communication fields, and adapt quite effortlessly to new technologies and ways of thinking. This then, is your opportunity to express that side of your nature. So much information is available, to be used with discernment and without judgment. Sift through what is on offer, and find the area and the direction your life is in now. A time to expand your horizons, and move out into unchartered territory. Just be careful, to not lose yourself and stay grounded.
SCORIO : If you are currently feeling a little driven, know that is all part of the celestial configuration. Unsure, of which way to turn, and feeling a little exhausted is all par for the course. Allow yourself to be gracefully undone. Or perhaps not even so gracefully; just be the change that is wanting to manifest on the Planet at this time. Your aggressive side is probably, rearing it’s head, and the wanting to lash out, is normal. Try a new way of dealing with old problems. See what needs to change in your thinking. It could be you, who is the catalyst!
SAGITTARIUS : Jupiter now traveling in Capricorn, has put a stop to your outward bound adventures. Or at least put a much more sombre tone to them. Dancing with Saturn in Virgo this month, really makes for getting grounded. What is it, that you really want to do? Have you found your life purpose, or at least what makes you really happy? Opportunities will present themselves in your life, that will take you in the direction of your heart’s desire. Be bold enough to seize these opportunities, regardless of the fears that arise.
CAPRICORN : With the New Moon, comes new enthusiasm and inspirations. Harness it, and allow it to propel you into this new year. Great things are possible, when you are aligned and grounded and with Saturn in Virgo and Jupiter in your sign, you must be that, now. There will be few distractions at this time, and you can achieve much in laying the foundations. If your project is already underway, this is the opportunity to expand and take big steps. Whatever it is, that you envision, do it with integrity and all will be well. Pluto is still demanding honesty in communication.
AQUARIUS : Uranus continues to move ahead in the sign of Pisces, making deep and lasting changes in our psyche. It is all about surrendering the victim consciousness, which has been a part of the collective for the past 2000 years. With so much understanding now of suffering, it is time to move forward in true compassion, for ourselves. With that, comes the ability to forgive, old ways of thinking, and truly embrace our glorious multi-dimensional selves, which have been hidden in the cloak of victimization. Time to embrace our true humanity.
PISCES : Finally feeling safe within your own energy field, you are now free to discern which feelings belong to you, which to others and those of the collective. Although it is still challenging at times, you are more self-contained and yet paradoxically even more sensitive. The dance between Uranus and Neptune, taking us through to 2011 is disintegrating boundaries, and uniting us in the universal mind and human heart. What a great time to be on the Planet, and to be a part of this phenomena. Sharing your wisdom, is a part of the flowering.
