We begin the fortnight with the New Moon in Sagittarius. Mars moves retrograde on the 20th, and stays that way until early March, reaching 0 degrees, of Leo, and returns to it’s turning point in May. Jupiter conjoins Neptune on the 21st, and the Sun begins its journey in Capricorn, the next day. Venus, also entering that sign, this fortnight, and Mercury turns retrograde, on the 26th, just as it meets up with the Karmic North Node in Capricorn. Remember also, that Saturn and Pluto remain in their square formation, until the beginning of February. The Jupiter Neptune conjunct, creates a lovely sextile to this New Moon in Sagittarius, so although there may appear to be a great deal of tension in your life, and that of others, it is all clearing the way for true, deep, and profound healing. Reuniting people in their commonality, and drawing them together through Pluto’s destructive force, which is systematically ripping apart old forms, to make way for new ones. Sagittarius is the truth seeker. Searching for the answers and broadening it’s horizons to encompass far greater scopes of awareness. Jupiter it’s ruler teaming up with Neptune, the ethereal and the spiritual, is looking for answers, in the Divine. When things in the mundane world, become too much, the answer is looked for elsewhere, and that elsewhere is often in the higher realms. So if you are feeling at all tempted, to return to your divinity, or prayer, it should come as no surprise, this fortnight.

ARIES: The Mars retrograde will, no doubt, put a bit of a dampener on proceedings over the coming weeks. With the Planets lining up in Capricorn, you could be in for a bit of tension, in the responsibility arena. It’s usually, just when you are wanting to break free, that you end up with added burdens and more work. Relationships seem to be working in your favor, finally, and a lot of resentments, are finally being released to the light of day. That basically means, that you are in the process of clearing a large amount of old stuff, which has been moulding away in your inner basement.
TAURUS: As Venus moves into Capricorn, later in the fortnight, the shift will be from amorous to serious. You will realize the responsibility of relationship, and just what that entails. The main thing to remember here, is that no one escapes the ramifications of this current astrological formation. If life is asking you to shift some of your perceptions, and to look at life from a new, or at least different perspective, then it is probably a good thing to do. Keeping an open mind is going to work in your favor now, for holding on religiously to old thinking, will only serve to get you into more trouble.
GEMINI: Mercury, your ruler, moving through Capricorn through to early February, opens the portal, to some more serious topics. If your finances are under scrutiny now, then all the better, as it is time for a reckoning. If not finances, it could be your career or profession that needs scrutiny. For sure, you, like everyone else, need to let go of some particular model, and allow the space for something new, to enter your life. As Mercury meets up with the North Node, you will be in for some interesting revelations, and the opportunity to work towards new goals. Some, which you had never before considered.
CANCER: This Moon cycle, includes an eclipse in your sign, at the end of the month. No doubt, you will be in store for some interesting emotional journeys, over the coming weeks. All your nurturing skills, will be in question, with the possibility of disruptions to your home. These eclipses have an impact, and process, which generally lasts over a few months. With the Pluto in Capricorn playing havoc in your life, along with the other Planets in this sign, at this time, you will be confronted on many levels. Probably the best policy here, is to have a long honest look into your own life.
LEO: As the Sun moves out of Sagittarius and into Capricorn, you notice the momentum of life change. With the added impact of Mars moving retrograde in your sign, life could be looking a little discordant. There is not much more, than going with all that happens, that you can do. You have to trust that this process, is all a part of the cleansing, which is sweeping clear the debris, of a past existence, which no longer serves your souls purpose, at this time. VIRGO: Being shaken, twisted and turned inside out, is no easy maneuver to endure. Allow the changes and this process, as much as you are capable. LIBRA: Venus moving from Sagittarius to Capricorn, promotes a little unease, as life takes on this much more serious tone. Everything is, and always will be, in divine and perfect order, although from a limited human perspective, this appears as untrue. You must learn to trust the, at times, chaotic twists and turns of life. Learn to take all in your stride, no matter, how confronting or debilitating the circumstances. SCORPIO: “Bring it on” you say, as the plot thickens, and your life becomes a set, for the latest James Bond movie. No kidding, for some of you, it will be that intense. How you approach these latest situations in your life, are all a part of the plan, existence has etched out, for your spiritual growth. The temptation is to lash out and blame others, from time to time, although you have traveled far enough along the road of life, now, to know that this is no solution, to these current dilemmas. Any restrictions, you may encounter, will only serve to change the way, you view life.
SAGITTARIUS: Jupiter, with Chiron and Neptune, brings a sweetness, as the ability to see through the illusion, appears. What a gift at this time of constant, and unrelenting changes and disruptions. As your vibration shifts to a higher frequency, you can no longer view life from the same old perspective, that you once did. Although it is not all making sense, just yet.
