DECEMBER IS A TIME FOR REFLECTION,
REVIEW AND REWARD!
It has to be the best time of the year for gift giving & sharing between family & friends, so following, are a couple of store reviews to get you started, they both host plenty of bright new colorful options……
PANONPOE
SNAPPY HOME DÉCOR!

This store is situated in one of the best locations! On the way to KDT and the rest….left hand side of Jl Laksmana (Oberoi) No 150, Seminyak just before you hit the bend in the road & the very large showroom of the C151 property office. A smart, clean & modern store full of subdued earthy tone home decor items - batik table linens, cushions, lamp shades & wall hangings all sporting eye catching motifs. Contemporary ikat fabrics that cover a host of goodies like handmade Tibetan style slippers, photo albums & frames, note books & name card/mirror holders. Rattan baskets, candles & carry bags that never go astray. My fav items would have to be the set of three painted elephants along with a most unusual photo frame which is decorated with newspaper mache! Aji, the name behind Panonpoe has a mission; to make it the best little homewares store around, by the looks, it’s already a success!

NACHA NATURALS – A FRAGRANT POTPOURRI

You’ll find this terrific little gem of a store, amongst others, set within the Made’s Warung piazza, Jl Legian, Seminyak. The store is an absolute delight; it’s a super place to browse amongst the countless shelves/baskets overflowing with goodies to buy. Incense of course is here in it’s many guises – assorted sticks & shapes, holders, pure oils, burners, then a multitude of delicious soaps & spa products, all dressed up in lovely bottles & shades of paper. Natural food products presented in handcrafted raffia boxes, as well, a selection of handmade glass, ceramics & batik fabric pieces. Spied some smart cotton sarong skirts where the use of pattern produced a definite Kenzo touch. When I heard that clever owner Jane Chen had a growing business in corporate gifts I could well understand why. Jane in her own right is an accomplished dancer & choreographer, qualified potter & designer, a yoga & martial arts enthusiast… an absolutely delightful soul who is an avid supporter of Made in Indonesia, so for Christmas, buy a little something Indonesian!
