A three-part series on what the New Age we are entering means
and how to prepare for it…
Part II – Understanding The Prophesies: fascinating
insights from Ancient Predictions of our age.
What happens next?
I was fascinated to note that the biggest sellers on the Amazon
internet bookstore during the recent New York crisis were:
1. A book about the World Trade Center, 2. Nostradamus
predictions and 3. Nostradamus predictions. Amazon is
the world’s largest bookstore, so this statistic shows
that many people are obviously very concerned for the future.
So that set me thinking about prophecies and here is what
I have turned up. There are remarkable similaries among
the prophecies of several indigenous people and they have
a valuable message for us now.
Incan Prophecies
Incan prophecies foretell the re-integration of people from
the four directions of the globe. They predict a great
gathering of the peoples – a ‘munay’ - in
a spirit of love and compassion. The prophecy states
that the physical strength, or body, of the new ‘being’
of the earth will come from North America, the mental aspect
or head from Europe, and the heart will come from South America.
It says that the “new caretakers of the earth will come
from the West and will remake their relationship with the
earth having remade their relationship with themselves”.
The prophecies are ultimately optimistic. They refer to the
end of time as we know it — the death of a way of thinking
and an old way of being, the end of a way of relating to nature
and to the earth and a new realisation of ourselves.
In the coming years, the Incans expect us to emerge into a
golden age, a golden millennium of peace. They see the
coming of ‘Pachacuti ‘ which means ‘transformer
of the earth’. Pachacuti represents both a time
of transformation, and an archetype - the ‘luminous
one’ – the higher self, present within each of
us.
The prophecy says that we are in a ‘state of becoming,
as a tribe’ and that the ‘luminous one’
will grow from a seed planted inside each of us. There
will also be ‘a rent in the fabric of time – no
limits’ – meaning that we will be freed of our
present illusion of time taking place second by second, and
open to many dimensions which are all taking place simultaneously.
Hopi Prophecy Rock
The Hopi Prophecy Rock is in Arizona, USA. It’s
a petroglyph (a pre-historic drawing on stone) of the Hopi
tribe of the North American Indians that depicts the past,
present, and future.
The Rock shows four humans emerging from the bowels of the
earth. The people migrated in four directions, North,
South, East and West, before turning to the left to form a
reverse swastica (note that Hitler ‘stole’ the
swastika -an ancient symbol of life - and reversed it for
use as his evil emblem. The original, positive, symbol
can still be seen on many religious buildings in Bali and
other Asian locations). On completion of their explorations
in the world, the four tribes would return to the centre and
be re-united.
The Sioux tribe have a similar ‘four directions’
prophecy, and state that man would eventually become a ‘two-heart’.
The Hopi Prophecy Rock shows ‘two heart men’ as
well. This means that we will ultimately learn to think
with our hearts (our intuitive, sensitive, feeling side) as
well as with our heads (our rational minds).
The Hopi Prophecy says ”Great spirit came to humanity
on an island now under the sea and sent them in four directions.
Additionally they’d get four different colours.
They were each given original teachings and when they come
back together, great things will come about. The four
directions and peoples were each given guardianship of different
areas: the Indians got the earth, healing & plants.
The South got wind and breathing, taking it in.
The West got water, ‘the most humble yet most powerful’.
The North white races got the guardianship of fire.
Many things the white races do have a spark at the centre
– car, airplane, train. The white man began moving
on the earth and would begin to reunite us as a family.”
[The beginning of international travel].
Each tribe was given guardianship of two stone tablets recording
their respective teachings: The Indian one is
held at the Hopi reservation in America, the one for the Black
race is kept by the Kukuyu tribe at the foot of Mount Kenya.
Yellow is kept by the Tibetans (who are located directly opposite
the Hopi on the Earth – fascinatingly, the Hopi word
for ‘sun’ is apparently the same as the Tibetan
word for ‘moon’, and vice versa).
In Europe, the Swiss have guardianship – they still
have masks and know the symbolic colours of families (my Swiss
friend Suzan confirmed this – carnival, masks, and colours
are big in Switzerland). The guardianship tribes are
all mountain peoples (perhaps because the higher altitude
gives them vision and spirituality.)
The prophecy goes on to foretell the coming of the car, the
First and Second World Wars, and the ‘gourd of ashes’
- nuclear bomb.
It also says a ‘cobweb would be created around the earth’
– the telephone network created in the 1920’s
– (and now we have the Internet – a real ‘web’,
which is a fantastic tool for global integration).
The prophecy also states “the elders knew that peace
would not come on the earth until the circle of humanity is
complete, until all the four colours sat in the circle and
shared their teachings, then peace would come on earth.”
The Bible
The Bible tells of the ‘second coming of Christ’.
First, the anti-Christ (the devil – a wicked incarnation)
would come, heralded by the ‘four horsemen of the apocalypse’
– death, famine, disease and war. Which –
now I come to think of it, also have four colours. They
each ride different coloured horses – war is red, disease
yellow, death is white ‘the pale rider’; and famine/economic
depression is black (interpretations vary). Following
wars and various hard times, Christ will return to earth and
there will be a ‘day of reckoning’ – people
will either go to hell or straight to heaven. You could
interpret this literally, or interpret it that we are going
to transcend in some form.
Bali
Interestingly, Bali does not appear to have any prophecies
in its canon of stories, although colours and directions are
a key part of Balinese Hinduism. Perhaps they really
do only live in the now…

Seth
Seth is a ‘disincarnate being’ (an entity of consciousness
from another dimension, not presently incarnate in human form).
His teachings are ‘channelled’ via a psychic called
Jane Roberts (see “Seth Speaks’ by Jane
Roberts, published by Bantam).
Seth’s take on the Aquarian Age is that there will be
a ‘second coming’ of Christ, though Seth intriguingly
describes Christ as an ‘entity’ who has also taken
other roles at different times. Two characters will
pave the way for him, one who has already been born in India,
and another, a black man, who will do his main work in Indonesia.
The Seth material is fascinating – it offers a ‘new
age’ slant on the original bible stories, and describes
the coming of an age where our psychic abilities will enable
us to make a great leap forward in terms of our relationships
with each other, the planet, and our personal capabilities.
Our time boundaries will dissolve so that we will be conscious
of not only our own past lives, but also those of other people
too, such that we will not feel so isolated and will come
to understand that ‘we are all one’. This
will cause a great advancement in the quality of our relationships
with one another.
Another ‘great genius’ is auguered in the Seth
prophecies (similar to the Nostradamus and Incan prophecies).
This character will pull together the knowledge of science
and spirituality in amazing ways. What psychics are
now capable of will leap forward massively as the real workings
of the universe and how to manifest within it become fully
and deeply understood.
Nostradamus
A 16th century cleric with awesome psychic powers, Nostradamus
is famous for his prophecies which are said to have forseen
World Wars One and Two and the landing on the moon.
His texts in their original form are rather impenetrable –
they are couched in allegory and metaphor - but commentaries
exist. The most interesting commentary is by Dolores
Cannon, a clairvoyant, who contacted one of Nostradamus’s
students psychically (by doing past-liferegression hypnosis
on someone who had a past life as a student of Nostradamus)
and gained a fascinating interpretation of the predictions.
On top of that, another wise soul has juiced down Dolores’
predictions in turn, to make something that is really quite
pithy and readable. If you would like a copy, visit
website www.faqs.org/faqs/nostradamus or drop me an email
and I will send you one.
I strongly encourage you to read this information and prepare
yourself for the Aquarian Age. There are some things
we need to be aware of, so we can recognise them and fight
against them at the right time (ie early enough to make a
difference). Or avoid them completely!
The Nostradamus prophecies are not for the faint-hearted.
In fact, they are quite horrible. However, Dolores Cannon
reports that he was giving us ‘the worst case scenario’
in order to warn us (and motivate us!). We ARE able
to change what happens. Nostradamus was stunningly ahead
of his time – doing crystal and aura healing in the
1600’s – though I suppose he had access to more
information than most!
If you read the prophecies of Nostradamus, make sure you hang
in there for the happy ending! What they predict is
the eventual realisation of ‘the Aquarian Age’
–ascension of human consciousness to a new level.
But the route there – phew! The description is
graphically unpleasant.
However, it is difficult to be clear on the exact dates and
it appears that the really awful bits are not due to happen
for another sixty years or so (opinions vary) – and
remember also, it does not HAVE to happen. We can influence
the outcome.
In a nutshell, the prophecies describe the coming of an evil
dictator who will reign on earth for a short time (less than
thirty years) but will wreak havoc, causing terrible wars
and loss of life. Ultimately, he is overthrown by a
‘great genius’ who arises against him. The
prophecies are very gory. They talk about war and yes,
chemical warfare. Ultimately, they fortell World War
III, after which there will be far fewer humans on the earth,
necessitating a pulling together and connecting to create
communities who will clear the concrete from the earth (i.e.
large cities) re-opening the land, and will co-operate together
to create farms and produce food.
Who is ‘the Antichrist’? Has he been born
yet? Is he bin Laden? Read the prophecies yoursrlf
and see what you think.
Prophecies – Schmophesies!
Now – hold your horses (especially Apocalyptic ones!!)
Don’t panic. Remember that prophecies are one
possible description of myriad possible outcomes. They do
not necessarily have to happen. We are all part of a
dynamic network of possibilities, in fact. And what
each of us does really does make a difference and can change
things for all of us. That is our power, and our responsibility.
Remember also, that we live in a divine and benevolent universe.
We are meant to succeed and transcend, at the deepest level.
If you would like to know more about these prophecies, (apart
from the Nostradamus link already mentioned), visit http://www.crystalinks.com/prophecies.html
which was the source for some of the information here.
Do visit this site and educate yourself. The new world
begins with each of us – that means you and me.
The fear-busting thing is that we each can, and will make
a difference. That is our own special guardianship.
Spiritual People, the world needs YOU!
Now is a special time for spiritual people. Those of
you who have been working on yourselves and have some inner
understanding and spirituality, the world needs you now.
It is time to come out of the closet as a spiritual person
and begin to share what you know with people who perhaps have
not found the path yet. Set a light to help guide them
to it. Give them some encouragement and pointers along
the way. Set as public an example as you can.
Together we can join the four corners of the earth and fulfil
the prophecies that say we can transcend ourselves and become
more than we have ever been.
And if you don’t consider yourself a ‘spiritual
person’ or you’ve never tried ‘alternate
therapies’ – like massage, reiki, crystal healing,
and so on - why not pick one that appeals to you, and try
it! Dip your toe in the water – and allow
yourself to be pleasantly surprised!
