The 'Language Of Light' - Transform Your World Using Ancient
Shamanic Magic
Sacred shapes that underpin our Universe
Plato was a whizz at maths, and discovered that a range of
'sacred shapes' - cubes, sphere, cylinder, cone, and more
- are the 'building blocks' of our world. Remarkably, this
has been borne out by later scientists, as every element has
a related shape that forms its very structure at an atomic
level.
This is true at the 'macro' level as well - the shapes can
be seen in structures throughout our world, from the sub-atomic
level, to the helical spirals of DNA, through the inner patterns
of the spirals of shells, the design of a pineapple, the pyramids,
right up to the shapes of star systems. So, the universe is
'described in a grain of sand' - everything is interrelated
in an amazing way.
There are six 'Platonic solids' - these are shapes (defined
by Plato) that have uniform facets - every facet is the same
shape. Also, they are always convex shapes including the cube,
dodecahedron (which has twelve pentagonal sides) tetrahedron
(triangular pyramid), and so on.
Thus began the 'Light Language' course that I attended in
October 2001 - we jaunted through a whistle-stop tour of 'Platonic
Solids' and other sacred shapes that are the basis of sacred
geometry - and also the basis of 'Light Language'.
Next we covered the Chakra System. The human metaphysical
energy system is based on chakras (or 'wheels' of energy spaced
along the spine) and the aura (which is an energy 'field'
that emanates outwards in layers, from each chakra. Each chakra
has a colour, in a rainbow sequence running from the base
of the spine, starting with red, through orange, yellow, green,
blue, purple, and finally, white at the crown of the head.
Although most of us are not aware of this, subconscious knowledge
of chakras and aura colours seems to permeate our very language
at a deep level. For example - why, in English do we describe
someone as being 'green with envy?' Or describe a coward as
being 'yellow'? I can think of no logical reason - however,
the chakra system gives one - if you are filled with desire
for something (in your heart chakra which is green/pink) and
it spills out into your aura because you did not get what
you wanted, your aura will turn green. If you are not true
to your inner power, which resides at the navel chakra - colour:
yellow, the yellow colour will spill out into your aura, making
you look yellow. It is intriguing how these expressions are
so common in our language, yet the possible origin of them
is little known.
On the course, we discovered we could 'see' the colours of
the other students' auras just by imagining what they might
be. (Why not try it? What colours are in your aura today?)
This was one of the first exercises we tried at the 'Light
Language' course that took place at the lush Begawan Giri
hotel in Ubud (so lush, in fact, that I'm not sure it would
be happy with the mundane epithet 'hotel').
Our teacher is Amana Virani - tall, poised, and slender,
Virani is originally from Germany and now travels the world
as a spiritual teacher. She has light turquoise eyes and kind
of squints at you sideways-on when she is reading your aura.
I first met her when she came to one of my yoga classes in
Campuhuan a few years ago. Since then she has transformed
from a busy Mum and business person into a very beautiful,
confident and charismatic teacher.
She studied with the 'Curanderos' - an ancient shamanic tradition
- in Mexico.
Virani taught us how to 'emanate' or transmit light language
shapes psychically. Soon, we were 'emanating' away merrily.
'I'm a pink sphere!' 'Yes!' 'I'm a brown cylinder!' 'That's
right! I was surprised to get 100% accuracy with one of the
partners I tried this with (statistically very unlikely, I'm
sure) and about 90% accuracy with another. (Given, Virani
was feeding us with two different shapes/colours at a time,
but still, it was like guessing the throw of a coin correctly
eight times in succession). With other people, it didn't seem
to work so well. Maybe we weren't tuned in!
Our next task was to draw a grid. Whereas every shape in
'light language' has a meaning - for example, a green octagon
(like two square-based pyramids with the bases stuck together)
is 'loving wisdom' and an red cube is 'containment of action'
- grids allow you to take the shapes and create something
like a whole sentence of meaning.
The first job is to define very clearly what you want to
happen, in a simple sentence. For example 'Jane Smith will
heal her relationship with her father by 30% by March 2003'
or 'David Weiss will earn £10,000 per month by September
2004'. The follow-on 'easily, gently and quickly, for the
higher good of all' is always added to ensure that the outcome
is positive.
Next, shapes are chosen for the centre of the grid - this
defines the heart of the problem. Two more shapes further
define the issue, and a further two specify the desired outcome.
Then, additional sets of shapes describe 'where the problem
or issue is located in the body or life of the person' and
'how it got there'. After that, the remainder must be chosen
with a combination of intuition and poring over the reference
books (each coloured shape has a number of meanings and these
must be correlated).
Phew! Just the process of defining the issue that you want
to work on is a considerable 'will-focusing' task! Then, the
further focus you need to put in to deciding on the right
shapes, colour, and position for the grid is quite mind-bending.
Finally, you are required to draw every shape (they don't
have to be perfect, but they must be 'impeccable') and colour
it in, in the correct position on the grid - again, a considerable
amount of very focused energy that you are putting into getting
what you desire. Which is, of course, at the base of many
magic systems - your will and your intent is crucial for manifesting
what you desire.
There are limits to the number of grids you can write for
yourself, and for every one you do, you must 'pay back' by
writing a 'God-shaped grid' - a grid that benefits your community.
For example - you must write one to create 'a support group
for single men in Kansas' or 'a children's playground for
Ubud' and so on.
Grids can also be written for other people, and used as a
healing or personal growth tool - for example, to actually
heal a disease, or to help the person manifest what they need
in their life (only with the person's permission, however).
So, does it work? I'm not sure yet. My grid, to manifest
some changes I've been trying to complete for some time, certainly
feels useful. Having it on the wall helps me focus on the
actions I need to take. And yes, I think it is working (Well,
an unexpected inheritance did suddenly arrive from my grandmother
a few days after the grid was completed, so we seem to be
going in the right direction at least!)
Virani's style is excellent - I don't think I've ever been
on a course that was so incredibly focused - she was on our
case all the time, making sure there was no 'side talking'
and that we are 'in our bodies' and had not drifted off out
the window (I suppose, being a psychic, she is uniquely qualified
to call us on this one!). The result was that we trotted very
quickly through the material, enabling extra time to practise
on day four, which was very welcome and enabled us to get
maximum benefit from the course.
Virani's explanations are lucid and succinct and she even
flows into different languages at times to help participants
from different locations!
Part of the purpose of the course is just to be in Virani's
presence - spookily, she was communicating vast amounts of
information to us via her subconscious during the course,
and without us necessarily being aware of it. "The subconscious
can take in 10,000 pages of information at once; the conscious
mind can take in only five - plus or minus 4!" Virani
announced. She was 'running grids' the whole time we were
at the course - emanating the optimal arrangement of sacred
shapes for many emotional states - love, truth, integrity,
etc. And also, the grids for optimal health conditions - ie
the state of 'perfect eyesight', 'not suffering from cancer',
'not having a duodenal ulcer' and so on.
These grids were absorbed into our subconscious minds and
so now we can emanate them, simply by thinking 'love grid'
or 'sleep grid' or 'clear lungs grid' - we don't actually
need to learn them by heart - we have kind of learned them
'by soul'. (Which is a relief, as there are over 3,000 of
them and each contains about 49 shapes!)
We also partook in a fascinating process for an hour or so
- we just sat looking at all the grids for various illnesses
-or rather the grids for NOT having various illnesses (about
3000 as previously mentioned). They flashed up on a computer
screen for about two seconds each while our leader made sure
that we kept our feet on the ground and paid attention (in
the second half, Virani instructed us to do this for ourselves,
and we did manage to keep our focus remarkably well. I suppose
we got a free meditation masterclass thrown in!)
I had quite a strong reaction to the 'grid viewing' process
- I started coughing and spitting up saliva (ugh!) - luckily
lots of tissues were on hand as 'you must not touch what comes
out during a shamanic process or you will take the bad energy
back into yourself'. So anyway, a lot of bad energy certainly
came out and I suspect that I was lucky enough to heal a predisposition
to some illness or other that must have been lurking in my
system. For which, I am very grateful. When I asked Virani
what the illness was, she merely stated 'You are not supposed
to know'. Which was annoying (but intriguingly enigmatic)
The first class 'Beginning Light Language' usually lasts
one day and covers eight basic shapes and colours. You will
learn enough to be able to 'emanate' seven-shaped grids to,
for example, create the positive energy of your choice in
various rooms of your home. Or, to help you get quickly through
traffic or find a parking space (handy, in Ubud, when there's
traffic!).
The second class, 'Intermediate Light Language' which is
a further three days, really gets into the meat of creating
49-shaped manifestation grids and you can do some powerful
things after this. For example, you could manifest a major
salary increase for yourself, or heal a serious disease, and
help other people. (Remembering of course, that you must 'give
back' with your community grids for each one that you write
for yourself).
Advanced Light Language. This is a further seven days. It
enables you to write 144-shaped grids and includes many more
shapes and colours. So I suppose whereas 'Beginning' is for
words, and 'Intermediate' is for sentences, 'Advanced' enables
us to write sonnets!
The course also included 'night school' - about forty hours
of additional instruction that took place before, during,
and after the course, at night, while we were asleep. Certainly
a different way to learn - I was conscious of rows and rows
of illuminated glowing shapes, marching line by line through
my consciousness. I also vaguely remember Virani being there
and my saying goodbye as she went (night school usually ran
from 10pm at night through to 5am in the morning). Other people
had amazing dreams - Lois dreamed of a fantastic city, which
Virani said was a memory of Atlantis. Some others had difficult
or tiring dreams, depending on what was going on. Though,
for me it was a fun way to learn!
