Do you ‘realise your worth’? Both in terms of emotionally understanding what you have to offer, and also, in cash terms? If you’re not sure, and especially if you are struggling, in debt, or lack cash, read on!
Similar to the way in which a boat displaces precisely the amount of water that is equal to its mass, you attract precisely the amount of ‘value’ in cash terms, that you perceive you are ‘worth’. Low self-esteem equals low worth, which equals low cash value. (There are other reasons for a lack of cash-flow, which I will cover in the next issue). A lack of ‘appreciation’ of yourself and your assets in emotional terms also has the same effect in cash not ‘appreciating’ or growing. So we need to invest emotionally in appreciating and valuing ourselves before we can expect to attract the reflection of that in cash terms!
Safety and security issues are also at play here – cash relates to the base chakra, and our sense of security and comfort in the world and with physical things. Surprisingly, a lack of self-esteem often relates to our experience of our own birth. One of my clients was feeling hopeless and that everything was pointless. She tended to rely on her partner for comfort and security, and a reason for being here, even, for being alive. It turned out that her own birth experience was so traumatic that she felt stupid and wrong for bringing herself to the planet to experience life in the first place. She felt ‘I hate myself for what I’ve created’ (in other words, hated herself for her birth experience, in which she got stuck and as soon as she did struggle into the world, she was isolated for two days). This was causing her to create more hateful situations, punishing herself! Birth is a big experience, and the negative beliefs set up can last a life-time, unless cleared. ‘Life is a struggle’ is another one that often comes from a difficult birth, along with ‘I can’t breathe’, ‘I can’t survive’, ‘I feel trapped’ and ‘I need space’. These subconscious ‘truths’ then play out in other frustrating life experiences that reflect that truth!
If any of the above beliefs are true for you, you can clear them by simply saying out loud:
“
I choose to believe (life is a struggle), I love myself when I believe (life is a struggle) and I embrace it, I surrender.”*
As you say the belief, feel how you feel when you have the belief. As you embrace it, acknowledge it, and as you surrender, let go. Repeat process for each belief. Drink lots of water, and take rest after.
In summary, before we can enjoy any sense of self-worth, and self-esteem, we need to get over any feelings of not wanting to be here in the first place!

Your ideal birth’ meditation
Relax and imagine that you are about to re-experience your birth, in the ideal way. You will be welcomed, made to feel safe, loved, warmed, and coddled. Take a moment to choose how you would like your birth to be and invite any guests or beings you would like present. The adult ‘you’ will travel back, to be with the ‘baby you’ at the moment of your birth, and provide all the comfort, help, and support you need. Now gently relax and drift back in time, the adult you visiting the moment of your birth. Float above and ask for help from angels and guides to help you create it as you would most like it to be. Hold the baby you, and give support. Welcome them, love them, let them know you will always be present, all the way through life. Know that you can re-visit any time. Gently return to the room.
More ‘Worth’ Beliefs
You may also wish to clear these beliefs if they ring true for you:
·
I don’t realise my worth
·
I don’t appreciate myself
·
I’m not grateful to myself
·
I’m not confident in my abilities
·
I’m indebted to my family/the universe, my family/the
universe is indebted to me

Realising My Worth’ list
List all your good points, everything of value you have created or possess, your skills and talents, and debts. Write down the cash value of each thing, and the potential cash value of your skills and talents. Add up the total – this is your present ‘worth’ as you perceive it.
You may discover ‘unrealised worth’ in emotional or cash terms. You might like to make a book, a kind of personal inventory, like a models ‘show book’ recording and celebrating your worth. Use photos and examples of your creations. This is something you can do for yourself which is good for self-worth (look at it any time you forget how valuable you are!) and which may also be inspiring for work and business purposes.
