Synchronicity

I was sitting at a roadside café in Chinatown in Bangkok, when I noticed someone familiar.  My best friend, from London, less than a yard away!  Recovering from my surprise I greeted her and it turned out that they had just arrived in Bangkok, as had I.  The email telling me she was coming.. hadn’t!  Another time, I met my friend Dorset in the supermarket in Byron Bay and he said ‘oh, you got my sms telling you to meet me here then?’  ‘No!’ I replied.  ‘But here I am!’

Coined by Carl Jung, the term synchronicity reflects his belief that everything in life is connected, and if we just open to our intuition, we will be guided to the perfect place, at the perfect time.  Like, when we are thinking of someone, they phone.  Or the name of a certain workshop seems significant and then a friend turns up with a flyer and invites us to go!

How does synchronicity work?  Well, everything on the planet, including ourselves, is simply ‘soul stuff’.  We are all God, looking at expressions of God, playing out all around us.  It’s hardly surprising, therefore that the stuff seems to bear a relationship to itself and an attraction to itself, as it’s all one thing!

And rather than the experiences and situations in life just ‘happening to us’ randomly, we are weaving them ourselves.  Through our thoughts, words, and deeds.  Our thoughts include our beliefs, which are the computer program that drive us.  What we believe, we get.  If we believe ‘all men are liars’ or ‘I never have enough money’ we attract that.   The word, or speaking our beliefs, is powerful as it brings an idea from pure energy or thoughtform, into reality, as a sound vibration which hits the air and vibrates the very cells, going out.  That’s why sound healing is so powerful.  Lastly, deed, which is action on the word and thought, brings the action into the physical world, so it can manifest.

If you would like to release your hidden beliefs, I offer an individual healing for this which enables you to free yourself from these patterns so they no longer have an effect on your life.  Also on this topic, Phillip Arndt has some excellent workshops and individual sessions at The Balé, Nusa Dua, called ‘The Wonder of You’, until 22nd June.  Through a fascinating and fun art process, Phillip guides you to gain amazing insights into yourself, so that you can discover any negative beliefs and change them.  Which will then change your life in wonderful ways!  Highly recommended and fun.  Call 775111 to book,  www.thebale.com

So, everthing around us is actually a reflection of ourselves!  And the more we respond positively to co-incidences and serendipitous connections, the more they seem to occur.  The belief in them, makes more, which is great, because they make life easier.  Why not flow easily through life?

Jung also invented the term ‘the collective unconscious’ which essentially describes the underlying ‘energy system’ or consciousness of which we are all a part, and which forms a cohesive whole.  We each have a soul and aura (the invisible magnetic field around the body), which can be thought of as an energy recording of everything we have ever done in this life, and past lives.  It’s recorded as pure feeling.  We connect through the aura to everything else.  All that is.  Through this energy system, we are essentially wired to everything in the world.  This is the underlying vehicle through which we can pick up the thoughts and feelings of others.  We all do it naturally, to varying degrees.

You will experience this when you walk into a room and are immediately attracted by somebody.  No words are exchanged – you have unwittingly communicated in feeling form, via the energy grid.  This is the same route through which we receive intuitive knowledge about other peoples thoughts and feelings, and it is this that I and other healers use in healing work to guide us to what the person really needs.  Rather than purely, what they are saying!

The thinking mind may seem big but actually the vast subconscious is what drives us.  We THINK we cannot succeed in business for example, because ‘we are lazy’ or ‘just no good’ but the real reason is a subconscious belief –  ‘I mustn’t be more successful than my father’ or ‘I’m not clever enough to succeed’ running the show!  With negative beliefs, you struggle and may make a little progress, but will continually sabotage yourself, in this example, in order to feel safe and not be threatened by your father!  Beliefs follow no logic, they can be set up by absurd situations in childhood, or even, hang over from past lives.  So if you are struggling, why not come to one of my healings, or attend one of the workshops, and free yourself!
