Trust

‘Everything is unfolding just as it should’
 
Letting go, into a giant fluffy cloudlike pillow, falling back effortlessly, knowing the support is there.  Trust!  A wonderful and rare feeling!  Letting go, flying and floating, knowing that whatever we need, we have already.
 
Trust is very closely related to flow.  If we grasp and hang on to things, fearful that we can survive, we effectively stop the river!  People who don’t trust that the universe will support them, tend to be very mean about letting go of their money, and paying for things!  Unfortunately, when we all do this, it means that there is no flow!  If you don’t pay your money out willingly and easily to someone else, for their work and gifts, how can they pay their money to someone else so that ultimately, it flows back to you?  So trust and let go, give, and let it flow.
 
Trust is important as it is the basis for many positive beliefs. If you trust that ‘everything is unfolding as it should’ it effectively frees you to let go, in the moment, and just allow things to be as they are.  Rather than resisting what is, which puts you in a totally disempowered position, unable to change things.  It is only once we embrace the way that things actually are, that we can change them.  Non-acceptance is really a kind of resistance, holding on, wanting things to be different.  Whereas acceptance and trust releases the whole thing, which magically allows change to happen! 
 
Our beliefs create our reality –they are the filter through which we perceive our existence.  There is no ‘actual’ reality, just our own individual viewpoint on it!  This is empowering, because it means, shift your beliefs, and your reality will  transform.  For example, if you believe ‘the world is not a safe place’, then for you, that is the truth, and you will attract experiences that reinforce that belief.  Your energy goes out in thoughtforms and is reflected back in what is around you.  So it is essential to have positive beliefs if you want to create positive things in your life. 
 
Where a situation in your life is displeasing, there is almost always an underlying negative belief creating the situation.  I help my clients to clear many of these.  To do it yourself, consider ‘what belief would have to be true for me to create this situation?’  For example, you have no money.  Or you don’t have enough.  That means that you probably have a belief ‘I don’t have enough money’ or, ‘I have no money’.  If this is true for you, then this is what you will continue to attract!  In a sense, a belief literally is ‘what is true – for you!’.  So change the belief.  Here’s how.  Simply say ‘I choose to have no money.  I love myself when I have no money.  And I embrace it’.  And decide there and then to have a new belief ‘I have loads of money!’  Stay with the new belief, don’t allow your conscious mind, or ‘reality’ to impinge on it.  Keep the belief strong and reality WILL transform to support it, I promise you.  It requires discipline and focus to effectively ignore your ‘present reality’ and hold the new beliefs until you reach your ‘new and more desirable reality’ but that’s what you need to do! 
 
Examples of positive beliefs about trusting:  It is safe to be me.  I am worthy.  I trust myself.  I trust others.  The world is a safe place.  It is safe to love. It is safe to trust.  Everything I want just happens.  It is safe to let go. I am loved.  All my needs are provided for effortlessly.  I am free.
 
If any of them have a ‘charge’ for you – that is, you have a judgement about them or they feel ‘bad’ then put a circle around them and then release them using the three step process I described earlier – ‘I choose to feel unsafe, I love myself when I feel unsafe, I embrace it’ etc.
 
The antithesis of trust, fear, is a way of ‘praying for what you don’t want to happen!’  Fears have a horrible way of manifesting exactly the awful things you are thinking about!  The negative thoughtforms go out and attract what you are dedicating so much energy to!  Let go of it and instead focus on the positive image of what you want to create, think about that instead.  Put up positive images of what you want next to your mirror so that you often see yourself with the things that you want.  It helps remind you.
 
Trust Meditation
 
Relax, breathe deeply, relax and feel that you are floating in clouds.  Feel safe and comfortable.  Continue for as long as possible.  When you are ready, return gently to the room and notice how you feel.
