New Year’s Eve is my birthday, so I really get to
celebrate a fresh start! A whole new year!
How do you see yourself over the coming year? Do you
picture yourself doing happy, positive things? What
is your vision? Do you have a bright view of your life,
so that you can create it?
The key with visioning is an open mind. Do not
allow your present ideas about your wealth, health, situation,
or anything else to limit your vision. Visioning successfully
means letting go completely of the ‘now’ and ‘how’
and allowing yourself to dream the big dream. However
crazy/impossible it seems! Dream big, you can overcome
any obstacle. However, if you dream small you can never
reach your true potential!
Vision Meditation
Relax, breathe deeply, and imagine yourself in a beautiful
garden. It is your garden. What can you see?
Notice what is beneath your feet. What can you hear,
and smell? Walk around, explore, and when ready, allow
yourself to walk to a high place in your garden. If
you need help finding it, ask for a guide. When you
arrive at the high place, a guide comes to greet you.
They take you to a special place where you are shown some
possibilities.
Relax and enjoy the show. Know that anything is
possible for you. Imagine your vision for love.
Enjoy. Now imagine your health vision. Let it
unfold. What is your vision for work and perfect self-expression?
Watch as it is revealed. What is your vision for wealth
and abundance? Watch it appear. When you have
finished watching, the guide gives you a gift. You will
remember what it is and what it means when you return.
Gently come back to the room.
Vision Exercise
Let your imagination run riot as you write down ten or more
alternate possibilities for each of these questions:
If I allowed myself to do anything I wanted, what would it
be, where, and with whom?
If I allowed myself my perfect work, what would it be?
If I allowed myself perfect health, how would it appear?
If I allowed myself my perfect lovelife, how would it look?
If I allowed myself complete wealth and abundance, what would
that be?
Now, under each option you have come up with, write the feelings
that they would bring you. You may be surprised at the
feelings some options bring – some
you might not even want!
Vision Beliefs
Here are some common subconscious beliefs that may limit your
ability to vision:
I don’t know what I want
What I want is not possible/silly/stupid etc
I am wrong to want what I want
I won’t give myself what I want
I will give myself what I want+
I am not worthy of life’s riches
I am not worthy of loving
I am not worthy of happiness
Dreams don’t come true
I limit myself
I’m not the luckiest person in the world
I’m not independent
My happiness does not depend only on me
(+ two stage belief, first clear ‘I won’t’,
then clear ‘I will’.)
Changing a Belief
To change a negative belief, simply embrace, acknowledge,
and surrender to it, which turns it off . The process*
is to say out loud:
“I choose to believe (I don’t know what I want),
I love myself when I believe (I don’t know what I want)
and I embrace it, I surrender.”
As you say the belief, feel how you feel when you have that
belief. As you embrace it, imagine you are hugging a
crying three year old, and as you surrender, acknowledge and
let go. Just do it once, for each belief. Drink
lots of water, and rest after.
New Year’s Resolutions
Do you beat yourself up over New Year’s Resolutions?
Any bad habit, in fact any behaviour at all, can be easily
understood and released through healing, by identifying the
underlying feeling that you have yet to embrace, or releasing
a subconscious fear or belief. Here’s an exercise
to try:
Releasing Bad Habits Meditation
Relax, breathe, and imagine yourself in a safe place.
Focus on something that you wish to give up, and allow yourself
to see yourself projected on a big screen, carrying out the
bad habit. Take a deep breath, and travel back in time
to the moment just before you begin to participate.
Notice what you are feeling. Notice and embrace the
feelings, acknowledge and surrender. And gently come
back to the room.

above is ‘loving myself here where I am now’.
