YKIP (Yayasan Kemanusian Ibu Pertiwi)
YKIP is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of all those
who live on Bali but with a focus on health and education. Amongst
other projects YKIP has established a medical library at Udayana
University and together with YKIDS runs a scholarship fund for the
semi-orphans from the Bali Bomb. We are also working on a number

Yayasan Kemanusiaan Indonesia
In Bali 22,000 people are cataract blind, but are too poor to
pay for an operation. Hundreds of children from poor families
have unoperated cleft lips and palates. Many, many desperately ill
children suffer unnecessarily because their parents cannot afford
medical treatment for them. Yayasan Kemanusiaan Indonesia can assist
these people - to date: over 18,000 sight-restoring cataract operations.
Over 1,360 cleft lip and palate operations. Countless children have
been helped with medical treatment. But we can’t do all this

Yayasan Senang Hati
A centre for physically challenged Balinese where they can meet
and make friends, learn or share skills like painting, woodcarving,
sandal making and practise English and computer skills. A gallery
displays and sells works produced by the members. The centre is
organized by the members themselves with some help from foreign

Yayasan Senyum - health care for people with cranio-facial disabilities
Facilitates operations for cleft lip and palate and other cranio-facial
deformities, due to birth defects, accidents, or tumours. We help
poor people from Bali, Lombok and further east, we raise funds for
operations whether in Bali or Adelaide at the Australian Cranio-Facial
Unit. We also work to build local skills, technology, and capacity
through training and development.

Foundation High 5 rehab 'So' is a rehabilitation and education centre for physically handicapped Balinese children. Our goal is to let the Balinese handicapped children of Bali be part of society.
