Mucky Pups is a play program by Park Life Bali for babies and toddlers that creates a messy but fun and safe environment for them to play in. Messy play helps young kids explore their developing senses and stirs their creativity to blossom. Kids get to play with colors, water, sand, play dough, jelly and goo! (All the messy stuff that kids secretly love and you hate to have smeared all over your walls and floors at home.) Play sessions will be held Mondays and Wednesdays in September, from 8.30 – 9.30 am. Each session costs IDR 150k, which includes access to the park and playground afterwards. Also at Park Life Bali is a Sunday Family Fun Day for the whole family. Come for breakfast at 8 am, then kids can join in face painting and jumping castle activities at 10 am. Paradiso Ubud will hold a Kids Yoga and Mindfulness Workshop on Sundays in September for kids 5 to 10 years old. The workshop runs from for an hour, starting at 3 pm. They also offer Capoeira classes for kids on Mondays and Thursdays in September, for an hour, starting at 4.30 pm.

Paradiso Ubud also shows movies on a big screen with comfortable seating and an extensive healthy vegan menu for ordering food. They have a good offering of children’s classic and new films, usually shown at 5 pm, so not too late for bedtime. Ticket prices are IDR 75k for adults and IDR 50k for children, IDR 25k of which can be spent on food from their delicious menu. Art Geed Art is an art space and café set up by Balinese artist, Geed, in 2018. The studio offers painting and craft classes, as well as Bahasa Indonesian lessons and monthly special events, called ‘Creative Meet-Up” where everyone is welcome to come and make art all night long.

The studio offers a Small Artists Day on Saturdays at 2 pm. For a fee of IDR 50,000, kids will be given a canvas, paints and brushes to let their creativity and imagination run free. The fee includes a juice.

Art Geed offers Kids Craft classes every Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm. The IDR 50,000 fee includes gluten-free cookies from Made’s Banana Flour Company. Past classes have included slime making, pinwheel making and painting, finger painting and play dough making.
