Birthday Bash – Jenja (29 July)
Jenja is a bit of a legacy amongst the young and young at heart as one of Bali’s most popular and successful venues. The community is invited to celebrate Jenja’s third birthday and what a success story it has been with plenty of live music and DJs which attract the crowds along with great service and lively ambience. ARCADIA is the theme, a paradise where you can roam around and dance in the gardens created for this special occasion. The dress code is exotic chic and the best dressed man and woman will win a bottle of something worth dressing up for. The guest list will close on 22 July and it takes a second to click so do so as soon as possible. A strict dress code will be implemented which says no to singlets, flip flops or beachwear. Blue Party featuring Poolclyb (22 July)
Happy 7th anniversary Cocoon! More celebrations this month! It is hard to believe that Cocoon is turning 7 and another success story right in the heart of Seminyak! The high season birthday party features Australia’s Poolclyb who is set to deliver house beats. From midday, resident Indra K will warm things up. The fun continues with Heineken Honey’s podium dancers, stilt walkers and plenty of entertainment. From dusk, Nascar’s own DJ Michaelis will take the deck over and take the party from day to night followed by Yoga Yin. Cabana’s are available for IDR 4,000,000 including a bottle of your choice, tapas platters and pool towels for up to six people. VIP is limited so do call ahead to book your spot. The dress code is ‘best blue’ so do come down in something blue to the pool side to celebrate Cocoon’s 7th anniversary.

Splash (20 July)
This evening is an opportunity to enjoy some live music with Splash, an Anglo-Australian Indie Rock banded formed in Hackney, East London. The band has toured extensively playing at festivals across the globe including Field Day festival, Best Kept Secret Festival in the Netherlands and the Midi Festival in France and more. Entry is free so do make the most of this opportunity to see an international band right here in Bali. La Laguna has some rave reviews on Trip Advisor and well worth a trip to enjoy great food, drinks and service.

Summer Party – SPF Fever Dream (22 July)
W Bali is set to host its iconic annual summer party with SPF Fever Dream and an exclusive performance from international DJs Cristoph and Osunlade. This is a day to night party designed by Jakarta designer Fajar P. Domingo and introduces the concept of Day Dream vs Night Dream. The day party is all about fun and creativity with live music, a beachwear collection launch, DIY workshops and a W Sound Suite Pop Up with jam sessions. As the party moves into the night, Night Dream will introduce two international DJs Cristoph and Osunlade and music and dancing will feature from sunset. Another late-night party worth attending.

Tribute to Amy Winehouse (21 July)
Amy Winehouse was one of Britain’s most outstanding female singer-songwriters of her time. Five-time Grammy Award winner best known for hits such as ‘Rehab’ and ‘You know I’m No Good’, it was in 2008 that Amy Winehouse became the first British female to win five Grammy Awards on the same night. Very sadly she died in 2011 at the age of 27. This evening features DICE paying tribute to the late Amy Winehouse. Born in Jakarta, DICE has always created and written her own music beginning her singing career in 2001 in Jakarta with a group called ‘Tangga’. She often sings in Bali and this evening is going to be extra special as DICE pays tribute to Amy Winehouse who will inspire musicians and audiences for generations to come. Yamato (29 July)
With a large Japanese community residing in Bali it is a pleasure to welcome one of Japan’s top DJs. After winning the ‘Burn World’ DJ contest in 2013 in the Japan division, Yamato is a force to be reckoned with. Yamato has played with DJ producers from different countries and has performed at festivals including Summer Sonic, Ultra Japan and Electric Zoo. This one-off evening features Yamato together with Mirror’s residents DJ Flip, Ozan Dede, Goeslann and James Kendrik. The dress code is dress to impress with no shorts, singlets or flip flops for men or women. The age is 21+ common in countries such as the USA or Middle East so do carry ID if you look younger than 21 to avoid missing out. Do call ahead to book your spot as this is going to be another popular evening of this year’s high season.
