Bali Gold Festival Summer Tournament (10 June)
Another event for golf enthusiasts in Bali starting with the ‘Shotgun Start’ with competition based stroke play and awards and prizes for best individual and team. There are plenty of other awards to recognize the talents of golfers. A strict dress code will be implemented ‘best summer attired’. No tank tops or sandals are allowed. A best dressed prize will also be awarded. The cost includes a welcome drink, summer BBQ dinner, practice range balls and lucky draws.

This evening is definitely for a special occasion and what better way to celebrate than with a glass of champagne! This event features a culinary journey with world renowned Champagne pioneer, Duval-Leroy and France’s leading caviar producer, The Sturia caviar. The evening will begin with pre-dinner cocktails and canapes followed by a six course dinner with mouthwatering dishes carefully prepared by Executive Chef Agung Gede and paired with Duval-Leroy Champagne by award-winning Chief Sommelier Harald Wiesmann. All this takes place at the very beautiful Kayuputi Restaurant another of Bali’s top, award winning ocean front restaurants. Holiday Camp (22 June – 21 July)
Great news for families with young children who are planning to stay in Bali for the school holidays. The Anak Atelier is hosting a holiday camp during the holidays! Kids can enjoy a range of fun and exciting activities. The amazing teachers have pulled together an excellent programme incorporating 4 main themes: Super Heroes, Tropical Paradise, World Holidays, and Treasure Hunters. Places are open for children aged 18 months to 10 years old. There are different options available and if you pre-book the full 22 days you will get 3 free sessions or pre-book 9 sessions you will get 1 free. Lunch is included for the full day programme. Full Moon White Dance on the Beach (10 June)
Full moon parties conjure up images of raves on beaches in Thailand and beyond. Now Genius Café plays host for their first ever full moon white dance party on the beach. The evening is all about meeting beautiful people, great music, dancing, watching the sunset, the full moon rise and celebrating the connection between the earth, the moon, the ocean and people. DJ Poyan Shifter will begin with sunset chill out tunes followed by a full moon white dance celebration and an after party for those who wish to continue. All dance guest will receive a 15% discount on foods and drinks and for those travelling from Ubud, a shuttle bus will be provided. Those travelling from Ubud should meet at café Vespa at 3 pm. This is always good news as it helps to cut down on drink driving. Happy hour is from 6 pm to 7 pm and a special full moon bar and snack station will be available. The dress code is white!

This is a nice way to end the weekend listening to Bali’s infamous Rockabilly band who will bring the sounds of the sixties and more. School Holiday Programme (19 June – 14 July)
Here is another great line up of activities for children who are staying in Bali over the holidays and who are aged from 2 years to 8 years. The themes for each week are very exciting. Week one is a journey into the Arctic to discover what lies in the arctic. The following week children will meet people in the neighbourhood and how they help us. July begins with the theme ‘Come in, your majesty’ with encounters with dragons, knights and royalty. The next week the children will get to grow vegetables and learn all about life on the farm. The weather is next on the agenda with all sorts of activities surrounding different weather types. The final week is a dip in the pond to find out what lies beneath. There is definitely plenty to keep the children occupied each morning in this beautiful setting of The Garden Early Learning Centre.
