Artists Open Studio Program at Rumah Sanur – Now through November
Some of Bali’s most exciting artists Wai Santy, Andre Yoga, Uncle Joy, Gregory Jansen & Komunitas Tepi Barat have taken up residency at Rumah Sanur – Creative Hub in October and November. Part of DenPasar2018 by Cush Cush Gallery, the artists will turn Rumah Sanur into their workspace. So drop by to see the artists at work, view their latest creations and chat with them about their oeuvre, their visions and their passions.

Cut-A-Thon at Manik Canggu – 10 November
If you are in need of a haircut and want to contribute to a worthy cause at the same time, get thee to hair salon Manik in Canggu. Stella’s Child and Manik Canggu have teamed up to bring you a day of fun and beauty to support disadvantaged youth in Bali. They are organising raffles, live music, a DJ, games and food & beverages. All proceeds are generously being donated to Stella’s Child in support of their Youth Program for Underprivileged Kids so please plan to come out and support them.

Kika Sprangers Quintet – 15 November
Vincent’s Restaurant in Candidasa will be the venue for a contemporary jazz performance by Dutch saxophonist Kika Sprangers who is one of the finest young talents in the Netherlands. Her distinctive style and authentic sound has earned her many accolades and awards. She released her first album of compositions in 2017 to great acclaim and was elected Young VIP 2018 best new jazz artist in 2018. The Kika Sprangers Quintet has performed in many countries and several prominent jazz festivals such as North Sea Jazz Festival, Bimhuis and King’s Place in London.

Market Day 2018 Fundraiser for Seeds of Hope Children’s Home – 17 November

Rotary’s 5th Annual Christmas Fundraising Dinner- 9 December
The upcoming month of December will be very busy as we prepare for the end of year festivities. Reserve some time for a very good cause and attend this wonderful Christmas dinner fundraiser organised by the Rotary Club Bali Ubud Sunset. The Rotarians are raising funds for local projects including health care, safe drinking water and sanitation at Balinese schools.
